ASQPE in brief

ASQPE is an independent association established in 2002. Its mission is to qualify products, processes and services (notably their installation) in the field of construction such as:

• Prestressing by post or pre-tensioning (tensile elements, anchorages, sheathings, filling materials…),
• Cables, suspensions and stays,
• Structural equipments for civil engineering structures (structural bearings, waterproofing, expansion joints, anti-seismic devices….),

and more generally to promote the quality of products, processes and services so these satisfy the above needs.

ASQPE currently complies with the standard EN ISO/CEI 17065:2012 which defines the requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.

The treatment of complaints and appeals is defined in the PC12 procedure which may be obtained on request from the Permanent Secretariat.

ASQPE is currently:

• Acknowledged by the French Government for issuing certificates of conformity to manufacturers of prestressing steels and to specialized companies for installation of post-tensioning systems for prestressing,
• COFRAC accredited “Products and services certification” under number 5-0043, (scope available on the website www.cofrac.fr)
• Notified Body (NB) as number NB 1683 nominated by the French Government to the European Union Commission for CE marking of post-tensionning kits, structural bearings for buildings and civil engineering structures, waterproofing of bridge decks, anti-seismic devices.
